Parish Church of St Mary

This Grade I Listed Building has a chancel, nave with weather-boarded bell-turret at west end and south porch. The walls of the nave are Norman with later windows Chancel C13. Flint and brick buttresses on south front. Little restored medieval church.

Barnham Church was recorded in 1086 in the Domesday Book.  

There is a flourishing worship life attracting people of all ages who attend for the high catholic ceremonial.  

In 2008 a weekly Roman Catholic Mass started following the closure of their chapel in the village and this service is held in the church on Monday mornings.
